FAQ

Answers to common questions.

Is there a seed phrase?

No. Wallets are secured by the customer's passkey.

Can an API key move funds on its own?

No. Every payment is approved with a passkey. An API key alone can prepare a payment but cannot sign it.

What happens if a customer loses their passkey?

If the wallet is enrolled for recovery, they can recover to a new passkey. See How Recovery Works.

How do I test?

Use a test project and a sk_test_ key. Live mode needs a verified business. See Authentication and API Keys.

Why am I not receiving notifications?

Check that the endpoint is a public https URL, that it subscribes to the exact event names, and that it belongs to the right project. See Setup and Verification.

Why was a payment to the wallet itself refused?

A payment to the wallet's own address is refused with 400 validation_failed; it would move nothing and still cost a network fee.
